It was originally designed with a small block in mind, so the hood had to be modified. The Italians just hacked a big rectangle out of it, and raised the thing up on some slats when they wanted to offer 7 liter big blocks. I’ve only seen one IRL, a small block model with uninterrupted lines thanks to its normal hood:
Perfection. Though I prefer the body color pillars on the 7 liter example. I stood around looking at this thing for at least 20 minutes and kept circling back. If I ever find myself in a position to buy a hypercar, I’ll probably pass on that and hunt down one of these instead.

Also of note is the Monteverde, which is pretty much the same concept- Italian body powered by American muscle, in this case a Mopar 440. I’d love me one of those.
